The Le\u00f3n-based company Tresca Ingenier\u00eda has drawn up a hydrogen station building project for urban public bus transport.<\/p>\n

Future EMT (Municipal Transport Company) station in Madrid<\/h2>\n

The future station, which is part of the strategic plan of Madrid’s Municipal Transport Company, will be located in the operations centre of Entrev\u00edas. It is an engineering project covering the entire use of hydrogen as a fuel<\/a>, from energy generation to compression, storage and distribution. With this project, scheduled to commence operations in 2022, Tresca Ingenier\u00eda continues to demonstrate its status as a benchmark company in the industrial applications and mobility of green hydrogen<\/a> as a novel means to achieve climate neutrality and the economy and industry decarbonisation.<\/p>\n

New energies in mobility<\/h2>\n

This refuelling station for hydrogen cell-powered buses (which, at the moment, will fill ten of the vehicles at Entrev\u00edas control centre) will be a breakthrough in the use of new energies in mobility (both urban and medium and long distance) and a decisive and firm step forward in the decarbonisation process that will lead us to climate neutrality.<\/p>\n

Mobility transformation in Spain<\/h2>\n

For Tresca Ingenier\u00eda’s CEO, Francisco Carro, “this is another step towards changing the mobility paradigm in Spain, as it is a pioneering project in our country that may pave the way for a decarbonised and zero-emission model changing the future of our cities.” In that regard, he also expressed satisfaction with the reliance on Le\u00f3n engineering for such hydrogen station because it endorses its track record as a leading company in the application of hydrogen technologies and represents a boost to its commitment to achieving EU’s 2050 climate neutrality. “We feel very honoured that the leading urban transport company in Spain has chosen us to carry out its project,” said Carro, who also highlighted the important national and international visibility of the Le\u00f3n-based company, which provides industrial engineering and consultancy services in around thirty countries across four continents.<\/p>\n
