A project in which the Leonese company TRESCA Engineering has participated decisively from the beginning in a proposal in which it has been in charge of the development of the engineering, the advisory work and the project management. The facility is located in the EMT Operations Center in Entrev\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>The company, also with headquarters in Asturias and Madrid, has shown its satisfaction at being able to contribute to the construction of this facility that includes the entire hydrogen cycle: production, compression, storage and distribution. This is a pioneering project in Spain that opens a path towards the decarbonization of urban transport and, in this way, converting it into much more sustainable and efficient transport.<\/p>\n<p>For TRESCA, this is one of the most representative projects that it has undertaken in recent years since it represents a firm commitment to the development of hydrogen technologies, a field in which the company is a national and international benchmark. The company highlights that green hydrogen is an energy vector that will be strategic in the sustainable mobility of the future and that the step taken by the EMT, the main urban transport company in Spain, is a good example of this.<\/p>\n<p>This innovative installation has an advanced PEM electrolyzer that is capable of generating up to 18 kg of hydrogen per hour. This system is complemented by a highly efficient storage and distribution infrastructure that includes two powerful compressors, three storage tanks designed to handle low, medium and high pressures and two state-of-the-art dispensers for fast and safe refueling of buses.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor of the capital of Spain, Jos\u00e9 Luis Mart\u00ednez Almeida, has been in charge of inaugurating this infrastructure that marks a milestone in the process of decarbonization of public transport in Spain and Europe; as well as in the change of the mobility paradigm that currently exists and that directs efforts towards a much more sustainable, efficient and zero-emissions model. This is a pioneering project in Spain that opens a path towards the decarbonization of urban transport and, in this way, converting it into much more sustainable and efficient transport.<\/p> <p>For TRESCA, this is one of the most representative projects that it has undertaken in recent years since it represents a firm commitment to the development of hydrogen technologies, a field in which the company is a national and international benchmark. The company highlights that green hydrogen is an energy vector that will be strategic in the sustainable mobility of the future and that the step taken by the EMT, the main urban transport company in Spain, is a good example of this.<\/p> <p>This innovative installation has an advanced PEM electrolyzer that is capable of generating up to 18 kg of hydrogen per hour. This system is complemented by a highly efficient storage and distribution infrastructure that includes two powerful compressors, three storage tanks designed to handle low, medium and high pressures and two state-of-the-art dispensers for fast and safe refueling of buses.<\/p> <p>The mayor of the capital of Spain, Jos\u00e9 Luis Mart\u00ednez Almeida, has been in charge of inaugurating this infrastructure that marks a milestone in the process of decarbonization of public transport in Spain and Europe; as well as in the change of the mobility paradigm that currently exists and that directs efforts towards a much more sustainable, efficient and zero-emissions model.
