The new Miguélez cable logistics centre is located on two plots with a total area of 30,000 square meters, on which modern facilities have been built that reach 23,000 square meters. This investment has involved close to EUR 12 million.
The solution was developed by TRESCA, which provided the installation with the latest technological advances, with two automated warehouses optimized for the different presentations of its products: coils, reels, or rolls.
The automatic pallet warehouse, which is 24 m high and consists of two aisles with double depth shelves on each side, will be able to handle 6,504 pallets with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg each. TRESCA as owner’s engineering company, has successfully managed the project holistically, overseeing the phases of Engineering, Purchasing Management, Construction Management, Legalization, and Commissioning. The execution of the work was carried out within the specified deadlines and expenses established during the engineering phase, thereby ensuring the packaging of the construction work to maximize both cost and deadline.
